A beautiful wall basket by the meticulous Uematsu Chikuyu. This basket has the hand-skill of the original masters of the field, and references baskets they would have made, as well as those of previous generations, and yet here is subtly yet definitively updated. The basket flips quickly between the old ideas and their abstractions, exposing the form that persists.
